A letter from the team
Ableway was built with everyone in mind. My family has traveled to 15+ countries together. My mom has CP and uses a wheelchair for long distances, my dad and I have ADHD and dyslexia, and my brother has autism. We know disability is not always visible, but it is always there.
Our family has definitely been the people scrambling to figure out if the hotel elevator works, if the restaurant has a ramp, if the museum has accessible restrooms. Pompeii was a nightmare. Uneven ancient ruins, barely any accessible paths. But we made it work. That is the thing about travel: you adapt, but it should not have to be that hard. The big maps do not tell you that.
But real people do.
